Peak fall colors across Hiawatha National Forest make for some of the best ATV rides of the year. End the day around the firepit.
Step out onto the deck or gather at the firepit. On the right night, the northern lights put on a show over the Upper Peninsula.
The Cabin
Newly remodeled and 3,400 square feet, Three Pines is built for groups. There are two spacious living rooms. The large U-shaped kitchen has an island cooktop and peninsula seating, and it opens to the dining and living area. Downstairs, a large family room with a bar and game area keeps everyone together after a day on the trails.

Each winter, water seeping through the canyon walls freezes into hanging curtains of ice inside the Rock River canyon in Hiawatha National Forest. The route is unofficial and can be treacherous, and the Forest Service advises against going when it's wet or muddy.
